Artist in Residence Work
Exploration near and far always fills me with curiosity and wonder. My work is part of the permanent collection of the National Park Service, National Forest Service and the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park.

Mini Monuments Project
In 2018 I completed an artist in residence program at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve. My work there centered around creating small 2" x 3" gouache and ink paintings on handmade paper to share with park guests while working in the park. My goal was to give away all the mini works that I made over a 10 day period and make some new friends. I believe that art can take many forms and doesn't need to be framed in a special place to have meaning or be considered art.
It's my hope that people will share their visit and artwork on social media while furthering an appreciation of our National Park system. Additionally, it's my aim that these tiny paintings encourage people to relate to the park on a more personal level and enjoy a handmade memento of their visit.
